Packet Pickup Announcement

Pre race bib pickup will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from noon-7:00pm @ Marathon Sports, 134 Washington St (Rte 53), Norwell.
On Wednesday evening from 5-7 pm local trainer and runner Don Wood will be performing a Kettle Bell For Runners Training Demo. This is an amazingly effective and easy method of strengthening core muscles and reducing nagging injuries. Check it out, you'll be glad you did.



The End of Summer Classic is organized by the Friends of Bare Cove Park in partnership with Old Colony Running Events. Proceeds from this event benefit the Friends of Bare Cove Park Fund.




ANNOUNCEMENTS:

RRCA Massachusetts 5 mile State Championship in 2011.

This event is easily accessible via rail on the new Greenbush Line which runs from South Station.
Simply get off at the West Hingham Station and walk across the street into Bare Cove Park.


Outbound Trains from South Station depart at 4:00, 4:52, 5:00pm.
After the race Inbound trains returning to Boston, leave West Hingham at 7:31 & 8:49pm.

A 5 mile road race on roads and trails, multiple water views

Mile splits and a water stop will be provided
